We work with Content Creators all over Australia to deliver amazing content to brands that are desperate for great User-Generated Content.

The brands come to us because they trust us and because our content creators know what they’re doing and stand out from the crowd (it’s a big crowd).

Once approved, all you have to do is pass our online Creators Hive Accreditation Course doesn’t take long and we’ll handle the rest.

The Process…

After you become accredited we’ll send you products from some of Australia’s coolest brands (and occasionally a ‘not-so-cool’ brand).

You’ll create some content (take photos on your phone) and send them to us within one week.

We’ll pay you for that content and introduce you to the brand if they request to work with you.

OK, but how do I make money?

Here’s the cool part.

Once you pass the Accreditation Course you’re immediately added to our Talent Network to work with our partner brands when they need their next batch of content.

You’ll then get a chance to show off your creative abilities as the gigs roll in (and of course, make your besties a lil’ jealous).

But what if I don’t pass?

Passing the Accreditation Course proves to us and our partner brands that you understand the fundamentals of content creation.

If you don’t pass you can take the quiz as many times as you like until you pass.

Around 90% pass on the first go, and the rest on their second or third attempt.

We are also here to answer any questions you have to help you pass (we really, really, really want our approved applicants to pass!).

How much will I get paid?

Here’s the DOUBLY cool part.

Each content creation gig pays an average of $100!

Not bad for 1-2 hours “work”, eh?

Sometimes you’ll even get TWO or THREE gigs at the same time! (WIN!)

That sounds too good to be true.

It’s not.

We set out to create a win-win-win (that’s 3 WINs) platform, and that’s exactly what we’ve done.

You really do get paid for taking shots on your phone of products you get to keep and enjoy for yourself.

And if a partner brand specifically requests to work with you again, they may ask you to become a paid ambassador for them (YAY for you!).

What type of photos would I be taking and what sort of products?

We work with any products that can be held in the hand.

No fashion (that’s a whole other beast).

FAQ’s

  • Because our partner brands are picky. They trust us to work with Content Creators that will be a good fit for their brand. Completing our course gives our partner brands (and us) confidence in your ability to create visually appealing content that helps sell their products. Fill out the below form and we’ll let you know if you’re approved to take the online accreditation course.

  • You don’t need any followers! We deal exclusively with User-generated Content, not Influencer Marketing. This means content that looks like it was created by one of the brands’ customers. It’s all about the quality of your content and not the “influence” you have. The brands want to see clear, beautiful photos of you using, holding and enjoying their products. You don’t even need to post the photos to your own account if you don’t want to.

  • The online portion will take you about 1-2 hours to complete. You will also need to submit 5 portfolio photos to show us you understand how to frame a good product lifestyle shot. We’ll provide you with examples and instructions for this.

  • You’ll be added to our Talent Network where you will gain exposure to our partner brands. We’ll DM you with details of your first content gig. You will have 24 hours to accept or the job will go to the next person in our Talent Network, so please make sure you have message notifications turned on.

  • Once you have sent the photos for your gig we will review them before sending them to the Brand and issue your payment once approved. If for whatever reason some of the photos are not up to scratch, you will get another opportunity to take some more with notes on why the photos weren’t good enough. If you’ve passed the accreditation you should be more than capable though.

  • A current model phone with a good camera, preferably with a focus/blur feature (such as portrait mode on an iPhone or Samsung). We also recommend getting a cheap tripod if you don’t have someone who can take the photos for you (Amazon has great affordable tripods).

  • No problem! In fact, most brands don’t want to see faces anyway because they don’t want their social media to be filled with the same person. You can take photos with just your hands in them, or over-the-shoulder shots etc. We’ll teach you all of this in the course.

  • Unfortunately not. Content creation is a visual experience and some people are just not going to help achieve the brands’ goals (to sell more products). They may not have a recent model phone or they may not have access to nice outdoor areas or a modern, well-lit kitchen where most of our content is taken We also do not accept any applicants under 18 years old.
